R.E.E.F. (Reel Environmental Educational Fishing)

The R.E.E.F. Program is a hands-on initiative that connects students with nature through fishing, environmental education, and community service. Participants take part in park and beach clean-ups, learn fishing techniques and survival skills, and gain a deeper understanding of the importance of protecting local ecosystems.

Beyond environmental awareness, R.E.E.F. introduces students to the practice of mindfulness in nature. The calming rhythm of fishing creates space for reflection, focus, and peace—helping youth manage stress, build resilience, and strengthen their sense of well-being. By pairing outdoor recreation with emotional growth, the program offers a healthy outlet that supports both mind and body.

Through this unique blend of education, mindfulness, and community action, R.E.E.F. empowers youth to care for the environment, develop lifelong skills, and cultivate habits that lead to healthier, more balanced lives.
